DKSH Supports Right To Play and Liverpool F.C. Foundation on Organizing a Football Clinic for Disadvantaged Youth
The football clinic is part of the Side by Side partnership activation between DKSH, Right To Play, and Liverpool F.C. Foundation to promote life skills, social cohesion, and safe and inclusive learning environments for children and young people in Thailand.

Bangkok, July 12, 2022 – DKSH Thailand has partnered with Right To Play and Liverpool F.C. Foundation to host a special football clinic at Denla British International School, Nonthaburi, to support life skills development through the transformative power of play for vulnerable children and young people in Thailand. The clinic was led by Liverpool F.C. Foundation coaches, who traveled from Anfield to take part in this outreach program, and facilitated by Right To Play and DKSH staff members.
Through play-based and sports activities, the young participants from several urban communities, with ages ranging from 8 to 17 years old, were able to engage with experts and a Liverpool Legend from the world-renowned football club. DKSH employees acted as the on-site translators for the coaches and the participants to enhance communication and understanding, while the Right To Play facilitators supported in creating a friendly and engaging learning experience. In addition, DKSH supplied healthy snacks and beverages for the participants to fuel up on the sidelines before kicking off the session.
Julia Schipper, Head of Office, Right To Play Thailand added: “Right To Play is a global leader in harnessing sport and play to protect, educate, and empower the world’s most vulnerable children. Working side by side with LFC Foundation, with the support of our project partner DKSH, means we have been able to reach more children and young people in vulnerable communities in Bangkok through the pandemic, to ensure they have the skills and support they need to learn, lead, and succeed in life.”
Matt Parish, CEO, Liverpool F.C. Foundation added: “We're proud to see the positive impact of our project in Thailand and the way LFC Foundation coaches are sharing their expertise with community coaches and helping to support vulnerable children using the power of sport and play. As the world’s greatest football family, we are committed to helping those in need, both at home in Liverpool and away in communities like the ones here in Bangkok.”
Kwanchai Assanee, President and Head Country Management, DKSH Thailand said: “DKSH is proud to be a part of this meaningful initiative which brought to life our company’s purpose to enrich people’s lives, by supporting vulnerable children and young people with the learning of life skills. Our unwavering commitment to drive sustainable growth for our business as well as for local communities means we are ready to contribute our resources to help create a healthy and productive workforce for a better future.”
