DKSH signs exclusive distribution agreement with Metapol in Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, Thailand and the UK

DKSH has partnered with Metapol, the Mexico-based international leader in specialty non-ferrous metallic pigment manufacturing, to bring its aluminum and bronze metallic pigments to five markets

Zurich, Switzerland, April 30, 2019 – DKSH's Business Unit Performance Materials, a leading ingredients and specialty chemicals distributor, was selected by Metapol to handle its market entry in Asia and the UK. DKSH was chosen for its strong, long-standing presence and extensive capillary distribution network.

Under the agreement, DKSH will sell, market and distribute Metapol's specialty aluminum and bronze metallic pigments in Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, Thailand and the UK. DKSH will also provide logistics, market intelligence and after-sales services.

The innovative pigments from Metapol's ALU, Cubrio, SiO, Brio and Seguriflex lines can be used to achieve a broad scope of metallic effects in a wide range of applications, including coatings, automotive finishes, plastics, powder coatings, graphic arts, graphic inks and functional applications. DKSH is the partner of choice for Metapol due to its large customer base of automotive, can coating, aerosol, industrial coating, powder coating, inks and plastics manufacturers.
