DKSH Launches “V Care” Campaign to Support Local Pharmacies With COVID-19 Medicine Education
DKSH has donated its Vitalklares products to more than 20 participating pharmacies and civil society organizations across Thailand to raise awareness on essential medicines and food supplement products that can mitigate the risks of contracting COVID-19 related symptoms.

Bangkok, May 3, 2022 – DKSH Business Unit Healthcare launches project “V Care” in collaboration with 20 pharmacies in Bangkok and several provinces, as well as the Community Pharmacy Fund and Save Thailand volunteer group (“Rao Tong Rod”). The goal of the project which is led by Vitalklares, a healthcare brand marketed and distributed by DKSH Thailand Limited, is to raise awareness and educate the public on essential medicines to have at home during the Covid-19 pandemic.
As a service to the Thai public health, “V Care” aims to increase Thai pharmacists’ and consumers’ knowledge and understanding on essential medicines and healthcare products that should be in every household to mitigate the risk of contracting COVID-19 and promote a healthy lifestyle. Some of these products include Vitalklares’ vitamins, supplements, and green chiretta (Andrographis Paniculata, also known as Fa Talai Jone) tablets.
Additionally, Vitalklares donated some of its products to the participating pharmacies, the Community Pharmacy Fund, and Save Thailand volunteer group for educational purposes, particularly for the benefit of the volunteer pharmacists who treat COVID-19 patients in local communities.
John Clare, Vice President Healthcare, DKSH Thailand & Indochina, said “Over the past two years, DKSH has been an essential force in Thailand’s fight against COVID-19 through our nationwide COVID-19 vaccine distribution of over 72 million doses to date. Now, we have another opportunity and responsibility to support Thai patients by providing critical knowledge and promoting good nutrition and health which are critical in preventing COVID-19 and other illnesses. Through our “V Care” campaign, we are committed to ensuring that the local communities have the right knowledge and resources to access essential medicines during these challenging times.”
