DKSH continues to support Thai hospitals with medical supplies during thereemergenceof COVID-19 cases
DKSH has contributed medical-grade supplies and essential products to five hospitals due to the intense rise of COVID-19 cases in Thailand.

Media release
Bangkok, June 4, 2021 – DKSH Business Unit Healthcare, the trusted partner for healthcare companies seeking to grow their business in Asia and beyond, has continued its D-Give campaign for the second year to support frontline healthcare professionals and patients during these unprecedented times.
Many public and field hospitals are currently in short supply of medical supplies and other essential products that meet industrial standards to care for COVID-19 positive patients. The third wave of COVID-19 in Thailand has made these high-quality items scarce and difficult to procure in the market. In consequence, DKSH has provided medical-grade supplies worth over 1.7 million Thai baht to five hospitals across different provinces: Bamrasnaradura Institute, Bhumibol Hospital, Samutprakarn Hospital, Thammasat Hospital and Vaijra Hospital.
DKSH connected with the hospitals directly to gauge their immediate needs and responded by donating the much-needed medical-grade supplies including N-95 surgical masks, PPE and face shields, hand sanitizers, disinfectant sprays, disinfectant wipes, and other industrial-grade necessities. This donation was made possible thanks to the contribution from DKSH employees and their families, which was then matched by the company, bringing the total amount to over 1.7 million Thai baht.
John Clare, Vice President Healthcare, DKSH Thailand & Indochina, said “Since the onset of the pandemic, we have demonstrated our commitment to serving Thai patients and healthcare professionals by delivering the best healthcare without any interruption. This includes our role in distributing the
COVID-19 vaccines nationwide. Through D-Give, we can strengthen our commitment by equipping those on the frontlines with the necessary tools to protect themselves while treating their patients.”
