DKSH Commits to Support Vietnam in the Battle Against COVID-19

DKSH commits to the development of the local community with continuous contributions to support Vietnam during the recent COVID-19 wave.

Ho Chi Minh City, August 04, 2021 – DKSH, the trusted partner for international companies seeking to grow their business in Asia and beyond, has committed to further support frontline healthcare professionals and patients with cash, essential medical supplies, and protective measures.

Earlier in June this year, when COVID-19 cases increase significantly in the North Vietnam, DKSH has contributed masks, personal protective equipment, medical equipment to the K hospital and National Hospital of Tropical Disease. Other essentials, such as hand sanitizers, disinfectant sprays, and nutrition drinks were also donated to various frontline hospitals in the North by DKSH via the Ministry of Health.

As Ho Chi Minh City now has the highest number of positive COVID-19 cases in the country, many public and field hospitals are currently in short supply of medical products and other essential goods that meet industrial standards to care for COVID-19 positive patients. DKSH has donated not only cash but also provided medical-grade supplies, such as test kits, medical beds, oximeters, masks to various public and new field hospitals.

Since the onset of the recent COVID-19 wave, DKSH has donated over USD 300.000, which is counted towards DKSH's total commitment of USD 1 million by the end of 2021.
