DKSH and SOPAT GmbH sign an exclusive partnership to bring online real-time particle measurement technology to Taiwan

DKSH and SOPAT mbH, a German-based world leading developer of innovative technology for in situ characterization of particulate multi-phase systems, has signed an exclusive distribution agreement to bring online real-time particle sizing services to Taiwan to benefit the biotech, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

Taiwan, October 28, 2020 – DKSH Business Unit Technology, the leading Market Expansion Services provider for technology companies seeking to grow their business in Asia, is now the exclusive distributor for SOPAT's products in Taiwan. Under the partnership, DKSH will provide marketing, sales, application support and aftersales services for the SOPAT's particle measurement technology, including a wide portfolio of probes and software.

SOPAT develops image-based, photo-optical measurements and analysis tool that enables real time, quantitative characterization of particulates in multiphase systems. Its particle measurement technology offers the user a direct view into a wide variety of process, enabling considerable potential to monitor and improve production processes, which can be translated into better quality control without lost time, higher productivity and less waste. The microscope probe with high-resolution image is especially suited to characterize biological systems (yeast cells, bacteria, algae, water purification, etc.) as well as fine emulsions with drop sizes of 1 µm and larger.
