DKSH China collaborated with Good-hope Bakery of Special Youth, the public welfare bakery in Urumqi, to donate for disabled people in Xinjiang, sending blessings and supporting the employment of young adults with intellectual disabilities at the bakery.
Shanghai, China, May 22, 2024 — DKSH China, a leading market expansion services provider, collaborated with the Good-hope Bakery of Special Youth in Urumqi, Xinjiang to launch the “One Cake, Multiple Blessings” charity event. For this event, DKSH has sponsored hundreds of birthday cakes. On the 34th National Disabled Person’s Day, Good-hope Bakery of Special Youth launched the second “One Cake, Multiple Blessings” charity event, inviting people with disabilities in Urumqi, Xinjiang, to receive a blessing cake on their birthday. Out of concern for the employment of intellectually disabled individuals and the disabled low-income groups in the northwestern region of the country, DKSH has sponsored 300 birthday cakes made of high-quality ingredients for the “One Cake, Multiple Blessings” charity event, supporting Good-hope Bakery of Special Youth in continuing this act of spreading love.
Good-hope Bakery of Special Youth is a public welfare bakery in Urumqi focused on supportive employment for young adults with intellectual disabilities. Its main products are birthday cakes and cookies. The income generated from the sale of these cakes helps to stabilize employment for the young workers at the bakery, providing them with economic support and job stability.
