DKSH wins WACKER's “Distributor of the Year 2018” award in Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam

DKSH was once again recognized as a “Distributor of the Year” by its key business partner, WACKER. This time, the award was given to DKSH for three key Asian markets: Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.

Zurich, October 1, 2019 – DKSH's Business Unit Performance Materials was awarded by WACKER, the Munich-based chemical company, for its excellent sales performance, strong business development and best-in-class reporting to expand WACKER's market coverage in Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam in 2018. For DKSH Vietnam, this is already the second award in consecutive years.

DKSH provides Market Expansion Services to WACKER in all three countries. Successfully developed market segments in 2018 were silicones for use in personal care applications and pyrogenic silica, cyclodextrins, and fermentation-generated cysteine for beverage and food applications. The range of DKSH services includes sales and marketing as well as distribution.

Through its broad network of 12 personal care and 15 food and beverage innovation centers in APAC, DKSH also develops tailor-made specialty formulations for personal care products and innovative food and beverage products using WACKER ingredients. These cutting-edge formulations benefit customers by reducing time-to-market and increasing their competitive advantage.
