DKSH Malaysia Achieves TAPA FSR Certification for Consumer Goods Distribution Center
DKSH Malaysia’s Consumer Goods (CGL) 3 distribution center in Shah Alam has achieved a level "C" certification for Facility Security Requirements (FSR) from Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA), marking the third certification within the organization since the initiation of such strategic efforts in 2019. This recognition underlines DKSH’s commitment to logistics and supply chain security.

Petaling Jaya, January 15, 2024 – DKSH Malaysia, the leading Market Expansion Services provider, has been granted a level “C” certification in FSR for its CGL 3 distribution center in Section U10, Shah Alam, Malaysia by the esteemed TAPA.
DKSH Malaysia’s Shah Alam Distribution Center (SADC) has set the precedent by securing TAPA FSR Class A Certification in 2019. Shortly thereafter, the Consumer Goods Logistics (CGL 1) distribution center in Klang achieved TAPA FSR Class “C” Certification in the same year. Both SADC and CGL 1 have consistently upheld these high standards since then. Receiving these certifications underscores DKSH’s commitment to upholding the highest standards of security in our logistics and supply chain operations.
The TAPA certification is globally acknowledged as one of the most rigorous and autonomous certifications for logistics and supply chain security. Operating as a non-profit organization, TAPA brings together manufacturers, logistics providers, law enforcement agencies, and various stakeholders with a shared goal of mitigating cargo losses in supply chains by establishing and implementing global security standards. Attaining a TAPA certification involves thorough scrutiny by independent auditors trained and accredited by TAPA. The audit process extensively examines how goods are securely managed throughout the entire supply chain within the facility.
Neil McCann, Vice President, Supply Chain Management, DKSH Malaysia and Thailand, said: “DKSH Malaysia takes pride in upholding TAPA-certified standards for the Shah Alam Distribution Center, CGL 1 and CGL 3 distribution centers. This accomplishment serves as a testament to the unwavering commitment and hard work of the security team. It also validates our dedication to maintaining rigorous security standards, affirming our proficiency in delivering outstanding supply chain solutions.”
