Enriching People’s Lives Through Community Activities in Cambodia
According to the World Bank, Cambodia is recognized as one of the fastest-growing markets globally and aims to become an upper-middle-income economy by 2030.

Despite its rapid economic growth, Cambodia remains one of the least developed markets in the world, facing challenges such as poverty, informal settlements, high unemployment, and inadequate sanitation.
To address these issues, DKSH Cambodia collaborates with local communities to create sustainable opportunities that empower individuals and drive social change through various initiatives. One such effort was the development of a playground and the donation of reading materials to students at Cheer Trach Primary School in Kampong Cham Province.
We also partnered with the NGO Les Restaurants Des Enfants by donating food and essential non-food items to children under their care. The food donations aim to provide the necessary nutrition for the children’s growth, health, and well-being, while the non-food contributions, such as hygiene products and educational supplies, address other critical needs.
On World Sight Day, we collaborated with the National Ophthalmology Hospital to sponsor hundreds of eye drops and cataract lenses for low-income patients, offering crucial support for improved eye care.
DKSH Cambodia has also implemented eco-friendly initiatives, including workplace waste reduction programs, the adoption of energy-saving technologies in our business operations.
At DKSH, our purpose is to enrich people’s lives. We do so by providing reliable access to high-quality and responsible products and services, creating sustainable value for our partners, and contributing to raising the quality of life in the communities we operate in by generating jobs, perspectives, and opportunities for people’s development and growth.
