Media release

Hong Kong, July 8, 2020 – DKSH Business Unit Technology, the leading partner for technology companies seeking to grow their business in Asia and beyond, has announced the first TMACS infrastructure solution launch in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Korea, Taiwan, Japan and Thailand.

TMACS can process high-speed monitoring and crowds scanning in 0.5 seconds. Through its thermographic detection camera, it captures and initiates facial recognition, temperature detection and mask verification. The temperature precision can reach up to 0.3-0.5 degrees Celsius variance. A siren or instant message will be triggered to alert the monitoring team for any abnormality.

The system's functionalities and applications can be further adapted with various management tools and systems, allowing to be tailored to diverse scenarios and regional requirements. Examples include controlling access with a connected, automatic entry system; performing trend analysis through database tracing as well as facilitating health declaration with other applications.

The precisions and applications empower TMACS to help companies achieve better mobilization of manpower and resources, minimizing the time on documentation, optimizing operational efficiency, reaching sustainability from a huge reduction of paper and preserving data privacy through immediate database transmission.

Thomas Fong, Vice President of DKSH Business Unit Technology in Hong Kong, highlighted: “I'm proud of the team's creation. TMACS's essence is about embedding intelligence into health and security measures. We have been educating and encouraging our customers that the solution is not meant for a one-time implementation due to the current pandemic, but rather, a long-term safety and security standard to be sustained.”
