DKSH Becomes the Official Partner to Introduce Dexcom G6 Continuous Glucose Monitoring System in Singapore

DKSH Singapore has been appointed by Dexcom to launch its Dexcom G6 CGM in Southeast Asia.

March 31, 2023 - DKSH Business Unit Healthcare, a leading Market Expansion Services provider for healthcare companies seeking to grow their business in Asia and beyond, has been appointed as a partner to launch the Dexcom G6 Continuous Glucose Monitoring System (CGM).

Dexcom is the global leader in real-time continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) for people with diabetes and recently launched its Dexcom G6 CGM System in Singapore targeted toward diabetes patients from the ages of two years and older, including pregnant women. Dexcom G6 uses a small, wearable sensor and transmitter to continuously measure and send glucose levels wirelessly to a receiver or compatible smart device1, enabling patients to receive real-time glucose data without the need to prick their finger2. The system also offers customizable alerts and alarms to help avoid dangerous low and high blood sugar events.

The Dexcom G6 app for compatible iOS and Android devices1 also allows patients to share their glucose information with up to ten followers3, enabling family members, loved ones, and healthcare providers to remotely monitor patients for additional peace of mind.

Reuben Ong, Vice President, Healthcare Singapore added: “We are excited to be the appointed partner to Dexcom and bringing their G6 CGM system to Singapore. Their new offering will enable us to help patients take charge of their health and we are confident that it’s new remote monitoring ability will help create better outcomes.”

Dexcom G6 received approval from Singapore’s HSA late last year and can now be accessed by Singaporeans this month. For more information on Dexcom G6, visit http://www.dexcom.com/sg
