Enriching People’s Lives Through Solar Panels and Electric Trucks
Thailand has set ambitious climate goals, aiming to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 40% by 2030, achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, and reach net-zero GHG emissions by 2065. These targets were updated and announced at the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Glasgow.

The government’s National Energy Plan aims to achieve at least 50% renewable energy for new power generation capacity by 2050, alongside increased use of electric vehicles in the market.
Aligned with these national goals, DKSH remains committed to sustainability by leveraging solar panels and electric vehicles (EVs) in our operations to reduce carbon emissions and drive a positive impact on Thailand’s communities and environment.
The installation of solar panels and use of electric trucks at DKSH's Bangna Distribution Center in Thailand is projected to help reduce more than 325 tons of carbon emissions annually. This reduction is equivalent to planting 450 trees yearly and decreasing fossil fuel consumption by 250 tons annually.
By embracing renewable energy and cleaner transportation solutions, we remain steadfast in our goal to become a sustainable logistics partner with responsible programs, implementing sustainable warehouse and transportation practices. We aim to achieve climate neutrality in our operations by 2030.
At DKSH, our purpose is to enrich people’s lives. We do so by providing reliable access to high-quality and responsible products and services, creating sustainable value for our partners, and contributing to raising the quality of life in the communities we operate in by generating jobs, perspectives, and opportunities for people’s development and growth.
