DKSH’s donation aims at giving access to the Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) kits to patients faced with various degrees of challenges in view of the surging COVID cases in Hong Kong.
Hong Kong, March 10, 2022 – DKSH Business Unit Healthcare, a leading partner for healthcare companies seeking to grow their business in Asia and beyond, announced its donation of the Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) kits to Rare Disease Hong Kong, PNH Concern Group, and Children’s Kidney Fund. DKSH will arrange subsequent direct home delivery services to the patients in need, including children and patients suffering from rare diseases.
In expediting the delivery process to meet the urgent needs, DKSH’s Healthcare and Supply Chain Management teams have resolved the manpower, procedural, and logistics difficulties incurred by the pandemic within days and have successfully delivered the first batch of the RAT kits to the patients.
Wai Ting Fong, Head of Management and Vice President, Healthcare, DKSH Hong Kong, commented: “Our team is very proud to contribute to this good cause of providing urgent support to the communities. The raging pandemic has pushed the use of self-testing RAT kits to screen out the COVID-19 positive results, but it is posing challenges for certain patient groups of accessing these needed tools. DKSH aims at enriching people’s lives, and we are delighted that we can live up to this purpose in times like these.”
