Vientiane, Laos, March 6, 2020 – DKSH has reached another milestone in its expansion and development history in Laos by moving its branch office to a larger, more centrally located working space in the Vientiane Center Building. With this move, DKSH not only provides a convenient location but also modern facilities for the benefit of its employees, clients and customers. The state-of-the-art workspace design and open plan environment fosters collaboration and innovation across teams and functions. At the same time, this set-up allows the company to accommodate all DKSH Laos' Business Units – Consumer Goods, Healthcare and Technology – in one single office.
DKSH Laos celebrated its move with an office opening ceremony attended by more than 70 guests, including officials from Ministry of Health, clients, customers, management and staff. The ribbon-cutting honors were done by Brajesh Hurkat, Vice President Healthcare; Francois Alexis, Head Country Management, DKSH Laos and Mayuree Neelanoi, Director, Country Human Resources. To maintain local customs, the team organized a religious ceremony by giving alms to the monks, hosting a traditional Lao dance as well as a BACI ceremony, a traditional ritual for good luck in Laos, which encouraged all guests to happily join the opening ceremony.
